Do I need to configure anything before it starts working?

What image formats does it convert?
The plugin converts JPG and PNG images to WebP by default. You can also enable AVIF output for even greater compression on supported browsers — it's a single toggle in the settings panel.
What are the server requirements?
WordPress 5.8 or higher (6.0+ recommended), PHP 7.4 minimum (PHP 8.1+ recommended for full AVIF support), and either GD or Imagick image library installed. For AVIF, Imagick with libheif support is strongly recommended. A minimum of 64MB PHP memory is required, with 256MB or more ideal for large image libraries.
Does the licence cover multiple websites?
The subscription covers one domain only. If you need a multi-site or multi-domain licence, please contact us directly and we'll work something out for you.
What happens to my support and updates if my subscription expires?
Free updates and support are included for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, you will no longer receive updates or support until you renew — the plugin itself won't stop working, but it won't be updated either.
